The Brand I select is Starbucks. This a famous American coffee company and coffeehouse chain. According to the official statistics in its website, as of 2016, Starbucks is present on 6 continents and in 75 countries and territories, with a total of 23,768 locations. To say Starbucks purchases and roasts high-quality whole bean coffees is very true, because coffeehouses have become a beacon for coffee lovers everywhere. The Starbucks value proposition mostly focus on three key points: the coffee quality, service philosophy and store atmosphere designing. Firstly, it’s about the quality of the coffee. Starbucks carefully selected their coffee beans from the best sources of coffee all around the world. By this way, Starbucks was known for their “highest-quality coffee in the world” to offer to their customers. Secondly, it’s the store atmosphere designing. Starbucks was very successfully to offer their customers a “third place” outside their work place and their home, making a Starbucks’ store a sanctuary place to escape from the real world. There is a survey about Starbucks shows that the three things most people would talk about are the environment, quality and price. First, the environment. It’s not unusual to see people coming to Starbucks to chat, meet up or even work. Starbucks is more like a neighborhood gathering place, a part of the daily routine. Second, the quality. People think the Starbucks coffee is high quality and good taste. Third, the price. Many people also complain Starbucks set the price too high, comparing to other brands.
